AVOID! Cause of constant valve stem failures

Likes a good display, visible in direct sunlight, with lots of quick mounting options. There are too many options for different trailer types that can be easily simplified by asking the user what trailer type (axles, tires) is used without forcing them to switch between all combinations. Secondly, it takes up to 10 minutes at launch to register the sensors. on the display even after the initial setup. This is very annoying as there is no reason why it should take longer than 1 minute. And the biggest beef. A bolt on the hood sensors causes durability issues with the valve stems. And I don't mean flow sensors, for which TST clearly recommends using steel stems. I broke 6 rods on a 4000 mile trip and am sitting in a cheap parking lot writing this tonight hoping to find a quick fix tomorrow morning. I lost a day on the road because of this nonsense, plus $120 on repairs, and I'm done. Tighten steel bars you say? Well, I'd love to, but everywhere I've checked they have to be special order, so I can only replace them with rubber until I get home. I've towed trailers for years and thousands of miles with no problems as long as you check the pressure a few times every other day of travel. I decided that the length of this journey made it worth investing in a TPMS tag. Get tpms they say, get TST they say. Well, after this experience, "they" are wrong, I say! Needless to say I will be returning this product. TST, you should be ashamed of this offer, the poor testing of the product and the fact that you don't deserve to be in business.
