Peace of Mind for Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)

After a serious blowout and damage to my car, I became a big fan of TPMS. Heading to my TechnoRV source to get a glimpse of the product, I made a quick purchase decision. I just got new tires on and wanted to make sure I was monitoring the tires with better technology than a manual gauge. This system has not let me down. Installation was easy, setting up the monitor was easy thanks to the very clear instructions and off we went. The system paid for itself on the first day of use. Apparently my…

Expensive but works quite well

TST is perhaps one of the best on the market. My rating is closer to 5 stars than 4, but I don't want to give the product a full rating. Lower priced items had too many reported issues for my comfort level and the one I bought didn't have the range needed to be used with a decently sized fifth wheel. I chose TS. It worked right out of the box. Tire temperatures seem plausible. Tire pressures were mostly within a degree compared to other reliable sources, but one sensor appeared to be off by a…

AVOID! Cause of constant valve stem failures

Likes a good display, visible in direct sunlight, with lots of quick mounting options. There are too many options for different trailer types that can be easily simplified by asking the user what trailer type (axles, tires) is used without forcing them to switch between all combinations. Secondly, it takes up to 10 minutes at launch to register the sensors. on the display even after the initial setup. This is very annoying as there is no reason why it should take longer than 1 minute. And the…

Not great for 1/4 price

Now I really regret I didn't spend almost $400 on this. It really is NOT worth the price. where to start Well, simple things. It has a color display that is very difficult to see in the sun. I guess it's not bad because there's an alarm when the tire pressure is low, but there's a reason to see the screen. I expected this to work, like most automotive stuff, it turns on when you apply 12V and turns off when you turn the car off. Not this device. It is battery operated and the instructions…

worked fine not yet

I bought this to keep an eye on the tires of a 38" saddle bike when I travel this summer. It's easy, if a little tedious, to install, but easy to follow if you follow the instructions. Setting an alarm is a learning experience, but again, a little trial and error is required. I only use them on four trailer tires. Although they work as soon as they are detected, when powering up the system I had to take multiple paths to get the pair to power up from time to time. In particular, one of them…
