Too weak for car use
They are VERY weak. Do not use on coolant or fuel hoses. MAYBE the vacuum lines would be fine, but I wouldn't risk it. The metal is too thin and the compressive force is too weak to be effective. I had to switch to clamps after trying a few of them. After that, the whole set went in the trash.
