Great entry-level lifting belt

I have recently gone back to lifting after using the year-long "Covid quarantine” period as an excuse to let myself go. I spent the first few weeks getting comfortable with the weight set-up that I purchased for my home gym, brushing up on proper techniques to avoid injury, and doing a lot of cardio to shed a few pounds. Then, when it was time to start lifting some real weights, I wanted to avoid any injury. I decided to purchase a lifting belt to help me reduce stress on my lower back, and to keep me from potentially hurting myself if I lost form due to being weaker. The belt is surprisingly sturdy and well put together, and feels like it will last a long time. It’s also made of material that can be washed and dried in a jiffy, without starting to come apart or to look any different. It is also surprisingly lightweight, but gets the job done effectively. Finally, it’s not overly fancy in terms of design, but I would argue it’s a good thing, since the designers obviously prioritized functionality over looks.

Pros
  • excellent product, just as described
Cons
  • The stitching on the belt is not very strong and might unravel after a few workouts
