The chain is strong and probably very difficult to cut. The links are round, not square, which is missing. Very thoughtful. The chain is comfortable to wear like a belt - this bit works well! The lock has several features that you may or may not like: 1. The key is a key with an internal groove on one side. This means there is a right way and a wrong way to insert it, leading to confusion. 2. The lock can only be closed by turning the key. You can't just click the lock. I guess it could be more secure as there isn't a spring loaded bolt inside to move it, but it's also a little less comfortable. Please note that you can freely choose the length of this lock. This length refers to the length of the fabric strap used to wear this lock as a belt. No matter what size you order, the chain is 32 inches long. 32 inches is not long enough for the chain to go through my bike frame, front wheel and luggage rack. YMMV, you can check it before you choose this lock. Maybe you don't need to block the front wheel? But if so, do you really need a chain lock that costs over a hundred dollars? This is a good bike lock. If the chain was 4 inches taller it would be heavier but also better.
