Possibly one of my best buys

I love this product so be prepared for quite a lengthy review. First, I bought my first Brondell bidet about a year ago. I've been wanting to get a bidet for a long time and, despite some skepticism from my family (fuh, water splashes up your ass!), I pulled the trigger and bought the Brondell Swash 1400 with a round bowl in December 2018. Rows, we loved it, and I mean we ALL loved it. My family's skepticism soon turned to praise when they discovered the wonders of a bidet and a really clean butt. Installation was a breeze. The only tricky part was installing the outlet next to the toilet, installing the bidet itself only took a few minutes. The included instructions did a great job of guiding you through the process. The only catch, and I don't blame Brondell for that, was that the bidet didn't quite fit the toilet. The front of the seat hung about an inch over the edge of the toilet. If you look at the pictures I uploaded you will understand what I am talking about. It wasn't a problem for my wife, but it could get a little tight in the front for me. It was bearable, so we just let it be. I was impressed with the durability of the Brondell bidet. This is a device that is used multiple times a day, every day of the week. We haven't had any problems for over a year. The only issue that came up was that my wife was annoyed that the kids used the toilet in our main bathroom so they could use the bidet! Well we solved the problem by buying a second Brondell Swash 1400. This time with an extended seat. We took the time to measure the dimensions of the toilet we were replacing our old toilet with to ensure the Brondell bidet fit properly. It was a success. The seat fits the new toilet perfectly, looks great and I really appreciate the extra space in the front. At the same time we replaced our downstairs toilet and did the same job of making sure we had enough space between the seat attachment points and the cistern to allow the bidet to be pushed back far enough to maximize space up front. I have included photos of the toilets which we ended up buying. In the photos of the wooden floor you can see the difference the new toilet has made in terms of seat fit. Part of what makes Brondell such a great bidet is the variety of controls that the remote gives you, as well as two user-configurable presets. . It's great that with just a few button presses you can adjust the seat temperature, spray pressure, spray width and oscillation settings just the way I like it. My wife found the night light too bright and I didn't like the ringing when I sat down, which is why being able to customize the settings is so great. We turned off the ringer and night light and now my wife and I are happy. In conclusion, I don't think you can go wrong with purchasing the Brondell Swash 1400. I did some research before purchasing and the specs and features of this unit, along with the many reviews I read, convinced me that this is the bidet for me. . My parents were so impressed upon visiting and using the Brondell bidet that they decided to purchase one for their home as well. Do yourself a favor and get one of these little ones today, trust me you won't regret it!
