Let me first say that I really like this screen! Works great and upgraded my 2009 Camry to feel like a 2019! CarPlay works both wirelessly and wired. However, I have a few complaints which is why I gave it four stars. Below are the cons I noticed after using this device for a few months. Cons: 1. Phone calls echo heavily when using CarPlay. For some reason, only when I use CarPlay does the caller complain that they hear their own voice when they speak, but when I use the built-in Bluetooth for calls, it doesn't play back to the caller. Unfortunately, I always use CarPlay when driving. My job for this was to use my airfields when I'm on the phone in the car. Not perfect but works.2. Wired CarPlay doesn't actually charge my phone when connected. And when it charges, it's very, very slow. Those are actually my two demands on the device. Also, I absolutely love it. If you are hesitant to buy this I would advise you to just do it. It's really a big upgrade over the standard device, despite the flaws.
