Review on TOYOTA Genuine Accessories 08921 35870 Converter by Michael Clarke

This is a FULL OEM Toyota part so the buyer should remember that it is for a mechanic who has a repair manual. NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. (usually this results in rejection, but this is an OEM part and they don't usually have instructions). I was able to find a copy of the manual online (just google the part number). This kit also did not include a proper bracket to install the fork assembly. (This bracket is included in the Toyota OEM clutch kit). Otherwise the relays and fuses were easy to install. The converter is installed at the factory under the dashboard. Not too difficult. I was able to make my own fork mount. I was able to perform a successful installation. The functionality was perfect with no problems. If you have basic mechanical/electrical skills you will install it in about 30 minutes. The price was about the same as a Toyota dealership, but I didn't have to drive to the dealership and wait days for the part to be delivered. No regrets, only constructive criticism. The shipping is fast as always and the packaging is great. Revane shines again.
