Runs like clockwork. Had the pros at Add-On in Williston, VT installed it along with my new 2013 Toyotal FJ hitch. The need to run cables to the battery and so on has been eliminated. Slightly more expensive but I know it's due to the quality and use of the existing cabling set up specifically for this add-on ;) Very pleased!

Excellent quality OE replacement parts. Why Toyota doesn't have a standard trailer light kit on the fj cruiser remains a mystery, but it's a factory plug and play kit. There are no cables to run from the taillights to the battery. This kit is designed to work with an existing system. The installation took exactly 30 minutes. Many of the reviews were negative due to the lack of installation instructions, but there are plenty of instructions online. Too simple. Worth every penny.

2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser. This product was almost too easy to work with. I wonder if it's really that easy to do the wiring. Amazing, all lights, turn signals, brakes and taillights work great! I highly recommend this product. Other kits connect to the car's electrical system, but not here. They also want you to peel off the entire back of the car. Do not do that. It's plug and play!

Everything seems to be there but there were no instructions so I only give 4 stars. The instruction manual was in the box but the installation was not explained. This is a genuine Toyota part, not a replacement part. I couldn't install the wiring and am looking online for installation instructions. Some disappointment. I installed a genuine Toyota tow bar but have not yet been able to complete the installation myself.

You should get this if you have an OEM hitch receiver. You can find instructions online. you will need them. Read the instructions about 20 times before trying. It's actually very easy to install, but it looks complicated from the drawings. The clutch itself was clear. It was not. Just the thing! Works perfectly! There are no instructions, but everything is pretty obvious. The only odd thing was the little gray box they sent with the box. I have no idea what it is? Maybe a relay or something? This is a FULL OEM Toyota part so the buyer should remember that it is for a mechanic who has a repair manual. NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. (usually this results in rejection, but this is an OEM part and they don't usually have instructions). I was able to find a copy of the manual online (just google the part number).
