Read this if this is your first time changing just the mirror part! Don't throw away the broken mirror just yet! So I'd like to know that when I've done my install. If you don't properly remove the Dodge mirror by simply pulling it out, you've ruined everything. The good news is that if you still have the old mirror, it's no big deal. The mirror they send you here is great, but it's built into the original round plastic mount that connects the mirror to the base and motors. So if you didn't use the right technique to remove the broken mirror, you will have to press the small tab and slide the old mirror's round mount. Then reattach the circular bracket to the motors by snapping onto the center and 4 outer tabs. At this point, place the new mirror onto the round bracket until it clicks! Don't try to attach the round plate to the mirror part first, or you'll break it when you try to attach it to the motor (from experience)! Good luck the towing mirrors don't break anymore, I have four of them!
