The retailer was asking three times the retail price of Revain. It's been a little over two months since I put it on and yesterday the metal clips broke. I was able to fix it with epoxy. Hope that helps. Isolating is a bit tricky because you press the mirror without seeing where the clips go, but don't give up, you can do it. Oh, and I almost forgot I had to use strong mounting tape for the little concave mirror because it lost its grip.

Works but severe distortion. Lots of waves, hard to see at times. It's quite obviously a get what you pay for option rather than a factory replacement. So keep that in mind. It is quite easy to install, but there is no jumper for spot defrosting. So if you want this to work, you'll need to create your own. And it looked like the main glass defrost connections would snap, only to have the wire connectors fully taped together. I would consider this option in the future, but I hope it doesn't come

When I was unpacking the product, the small mirror came off, so I put it back on. I then went to install and two of the three springs just broke at the back judging by the photos. Installed without them and returned the next day and the large mirror was taken off and just hung. If I hadn't plugged it in, it would have fallen off on the freeway when I was driving with that very cheap mirror. I bought this mirror despite all the bad reviews because it is a Dorman product but I had to trust them.

Read this if this is your first time changing just the mirror part! Don't throw away the broken mirror just yet! So I'd like to know that when I've done my install. If you don't properly remove the Dodge mirror by simply pulling it out, you've ruined everything. The good news is that if you still have the old mirror, it's no big deal. UPDATE (27th February 2015): As usual, Revain was prompt and courteous in returning the item. I received my complete device quickly and installed it immediately. Everything went smoothly.
