The hard drive has a slim, compact design and offers inexpensive storage space. After about a month, however, it started to turn itself off spontaneously. We used it as an external hard drive on an XBOX system and installed games on it and intermittently the apps and games on it disappeared from the screen. When you checked this, the hard drive light was not on or spinning. You must disconnect and reconnect the hard drive for it to work again. Unfortunately this unit just seems to be of poor quality and started working just outside the return window, otherwise we would have returned it for a refund.
