They replaced the stock shocks on my 2004 Suburban and what else to say, except they're Bilsteins - and they work fine. I believe the hype, the 5100 is a good upgrade for mixed on and off road use. I'm not serious off-road driving, but I do enjoy riding forest trails to get to remote campgrounds. and they are good for that. Recommended as an upgrade when it's time to replace the stock shocks. The stock shocks on a 2004 Suburban aren't that bad, and I was able to get 50,000 before they had to be replaced, but of course your mileage (literally) can vary. Some people swap out their stock shocks right away, which I can understand, in many cases the stock shocks are rubbish. Thank you for reading.
