Purchased for cutting handrail anchors in concrete pool decks. Started dry drilling with a wood guide (3 1/2" hole drilled in a piece of plywood). Once about 1/4" removed the wood guide, added water and a hammer drill. After about 2 holes 2" deep I burned my cheap cargo port hammer bit but the carbide bit was like new but lacked the paint. Cut through cool deck and aggregated concrete with ease. To complete the job you will need a new hammer drill :(:(:( . I recommend a good quality hammer drill for this hole saw.
