WORKED VERY WELL! the best electric drill parts and accessories

This drill did an excellent job of what I bought it for, drilling 7 clean holes in plaster and plaster wire in about seven minutes . Round old working electrical boxes fit perfectly. Whether I'll ever use it again is irrelevant compared to the hammer and chisel alternative. I used it with a base Makita 18V with a hammer setting. The only issue I had was the quick release of the spike - I haven't tried removing it yet, but even if the price per hole went up $2 it's fine. Don't forget that you…

Pros
  • Use standard shanks or SDS shanks
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Cuts well wet and dry. It is enough to have a high-quality puncher.

Purchased for cutting handrail anchors in concrete pool decks. Started dry drilling with a wood guide (3 1/2" hole drilled in a piece of plywood). Once about 1/4" removed the wood guide, added water and a hammer drill. After about 2 holes 2" deep I burned my cheap cargo port hammer bit but the carbide bit was like new but lacked the paint. Cut through cool deck and aggregated concrete with ease. To complete the job you will need a new hammer drill :(:(:( . I recommend a good quality hammer…

Pros
  • Works as a rotary hammer and SDS hammer, works forwards and backwards
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

best carbide hole saw you can buy

I have purchased several sizes of Magbit carbide sand hole saws. These are the best hole saws I've ever used. In the past I have gone to my local big shop and bought all the branded instruments they sell which were all branded, usually Morse or Lennox and they have all done their intended job. However, when I needed this larger size, which no one sold locally, I had no choice but to order it. It turned out well, I was able to buy a much better racquet for less money. The grit is much coarser so

Pros
  • Cuts brick, cinder block, fiber cement siding and substrates, plaster, old plaster
Cons
  • Some odds and ends
