Purchased for cutting handrail anchors in concrete pool decks. Started dry drilling with a wood guide (3 1/2" hole drilled in a piece of plywood). Once about 1/4" removed the wood guide, added water and a hammer drill. After about 2 holes 2" deep I burned my cheap cargo port hammer bit but the carbide bit was like new but lacked the paint.
