I was a bit hesitant to purchase this seat after reading other reviews and watching video reviews. Although I'm very glad I bought it. That worked great for me. As with many people, the saddle is the biggest obstacle to a comfortable bike ride. Conventional saddles are very difficult to use. They are placed in strange places that you are not used to sitting on. Enter the Hobson seat. This seat is a great combination of performance and comfort. The seat is very soft but supportive. The protruding parts hold you in place just like a traditional seat. If you have problems with seating comfort, I can give you some advice. Many reviews have said that their hips start to hurt terribly from this seat. Most likely because of the protrusions in front. To me they are not meant to be sat on, they are meant to go between the thighs to act as a handle. First of all, how I solved this problem, I moved 2 seats closer together. I'm quite a tall guy and at first I was like oh my god they need to be spread out, thank god they're adjustable! But after driving around a bit, I found that it's much more comfortable when they're closer together. The second thing I had to do was move the seat backwards. Initially I placed it in the same place as my traditional saddle. There was an error. I had to move the seat back a bit. Once I did that and moved those pins on my inner thigh, the fit worked perfectly. My butt doesn't hurt anymore and this seat doesn't look so stupid anymore. Sometimes I have mixed feelings, but most people don't even realize that this is a different place.
