Review on 🔑 Hatch Trunk Door Lock Actuator Motor - APDTY 134011 by Joel Wright

Worked perfectly on the 2013 VW Jetta for exactly 30 days and then stopped working. When I press the trunk release button, all I hear is the sound of gears whirring and nothing else. I had to climb over the seat to use the emergency release mechanism to open my trunk. On 7th November 2017 the replacement lock they sent me worked for 3 weeks then failed like the first one, tried to open the back door and all I hear is the lock spinning. Plastic cogs in there, when I opened it the plastic teeth were broken, after speaking to the company they asked for I took my car to the shop and checked it out as it had to be the machine's fault that it was out of order was. I mean it's a lock that snaps onto a rod, they really want to take it out of my car because their part failed.
