I really like the size of this easel. Folds small and flat and fits neatly behind a canvas frame for compact movement. The only criticism is that the upper front edge of the easel presses against the canvas due to its height and pushes it out. Essentially, it stretches the canvas so that it bulges towards you. If it had a foldable or retractable vertical or horizontal bar, you could snag the side of your canvas frame and this would be prevented. Not sure how that would work, but just an idea. For now, I don't leave my canvas on my easel when I'm not actively painting to avoid constant stretching.
