Review on Toyo Observe G3-Ice 285/60 R18 120T winter by Barbara Klecko ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

Pros: - Rubber is what you need, in the case of a powerful car - in a new condition, 1-2 seasons. Soft and holds very well, including ice, snowy road with a rut, porridge. Operation 90% Hong Kong, 10% suburb. Minuses: - By the end of the third season, it was worn out and lost about 25-40% of the spikes - on different wheels in different ways. But for a quiet ride (without axle boxes, gases to the floor, up to 120-140 maximum on the highway), it is still quite suitable. Previously, she simply allowed all this and speed calmly. - Durability is medium or slightly higher. For 3 years / 20-25 thousand, one small hernia formed, however, I calmly left with it. There were 2 punctures, patched up, put back. With my low profile (/35) and bumps outside the city, + high speed is periodically decent, especially for soft rubber. Strong enough. Summary: - In general, decent tires, but only for a year or two. I had a size 255/35 R20 - made in Japan, studded, apparently, 2022. In the 3rd and further years - it will no longer be possible to drive like in the first two. With the same budget, I would take her again or Dunlop Winter Ice 02, he is somewhere on the level in all respects.

Pros
  • - Soft and good grip on all surfaces. - Spikes are almost inaudible.
Cons
  • - Spikes gradually fly out (30% in 3 years). - Strength could be slightly higher, if at all possible to combine increased strength and softness.
