I ordered a refurbished DWL-G510 for about $15. I use it with Intel Atom N330 motherboard and Ubuntu Linux. Card inserted and everything worked. No drivers need to be downloaded. Ubuntu recognized this automatically. It connects easily to my wired D-Link router 20 feet away. It's been running for about 20 minutes without disconnecting. I'm starting a bittorrent download as I type this. So far no problems or error messages. I gave this card 4 stars. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's only 802.11g, not 802.11n. But hey, what do you want for $15.
