Review on Liftgate Supports Compatible Explorer Interceptor by Tony Guernsey

First impression; Seems made well enough for a replacement part. Our 2012 hatch reverted to full self-opening and soft closing, which was lost when the support column failed. If this part doesn't rust and works just as long past the warranty period, I'll upgrade this to a 5 star rating. There are other reviews claiming that the product doesn't work that well; I suspect there are some quality control issues and some get a bad frame out of a pair; but I haven't experienced it myself. The descriptions in the reviews are very similar to what we've had with a broken rack; what fixed this product; At least for the first installation. Time will tell how they hold up.
