Review on 🔧 Monroe Suspension Strut Mount - Strut-Mate 904905 Shocks & Struts by Dwayne Meurer

I recently installed this in my 2001 VW New Beetle GLS 1.9L TDI. So far it seems to be working fine. The large rubber mount appears to be slightly larger and bulkier than the original equipment rubber mount that I removed. It fit perfectly and went in with no problems. Removing and replacing the front strut assembly is a lot of work. So when you replace your struts, grab a pair so you can replace them at the same time with no extra hassle. You don't want to have to remove the new struts later just to replace the grommets when storing and reusing the old ones. My old rubber mounts were intact after 97,000 miles, but it was clear that much of the rubber mount had deformed from its original shape from all the miles and heat in Arizona.
