Review on StoreYourBoard 2 Kayak Ceiling Storage Rack, Adjustable Mount, Holds 2 Kayaks Or Canoes, Overhead Garage Hanger by Mike Weaver

This rack is currently hanging from the (9') ceiling in my garage, holding a 12.5' Kayak and a surfboard high enough that I, at 6'4", can walk under them. It was easy to hang and seems very secure, though I do think one needs to be careful not to overload it. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the issues with the paint, or powder coating, or whatever that is- I'm not sure whether my rack was a previous return or not, but it had definitely been assembled (but not hung) before I purchased it, and where pieces were slid over other pieces the coating was chipped off, leaving bare metal in several small spots. I almost sent it back, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Hopefully it won't rust through any time soon.
