I guess these do what they're supposed to do. My little black cat came home with a mouse & no collar. He ate the whole mouse except for the liver & 1 paw, right in front of me on the doorstep, so I bought him another collar. I took away a star because the first collar was the 6"-7", and although it fit, I had to set it on the loosest notch, & there'd be no room when he grew. I ordered the 9"-11" this time, & it just fit right on the tightest notch, but there were several inches sticking out even through the ring, so I cut some. The end is now not stitched, but that's a minor problem to solve. Why do they not make a medium sized one in between?
