We have two indoor cats and I was looking for collars that would not fray or fall off like the ones we have had in the past. These seem like sturdy well-made collars that have elastic in them in case they get stuck on something and will come off at that time. The colors are nice and the hook is sturdy to attach the license and contact information to. This collar lasted a lot longer than my destructive kitty's other collars. One of them is still in near perfect condition even though this cat has shredded several fabric collars with scratching and rough housing.However, the smaller kitten collar was torn up eventually. Again it lasted longer than my gremlins other collars but eventually she tore some of the stictching and started to unravel part of the elastic and it got stuck in her mouth.

I bought 3 of these for my kittens (9") that are indoor/outdoor so I could put a tag on them w/o losing their licenses. Within 1-2 weeks the elastic has already stretched so much they can now easily slide out of them. The collars were already set on the smallest setting and still plenty loose so and this seller apparently doesn't think there is a need for neck sizes between 7-9" (options would either be too tight or too loose with the elastic) on top of which I had to wait about a month for 2…

I worried that this wouldn’t stay on because it has a stretchy band but so far so good. I specifically had to order a collar with a metal hook because the safe release clips are too easy for my cat to escape from which is why I was worried about the stretchy band. Only thing is I wish it had one extra hole but I could make that myself. I also may need to put a bigger bell to warn innocent yard animals about my approaching menace.

I have 1 problem cat who loses his collars over and over. I decided to try this type instead; I like that they have the buckle but still have an elastic portion in case the cat gets caught on something.Chester managed to get the bell off within two days (!), but hasn't lost the collar yet. I have no idea how he got it off, since the bells hang on one of those mini-sized metal key-ring thingies. He got the ring AND the bell off somehow! He must be conspiring with the raccoons.

Once my cat figured out how to open his breakaway collar he opened three in less than a week. He is a very determined cat. Wanted him to be safe because he is allowed outside in the yard occasionally. This is the only one I found online as an alternative to a breakaway. I couldn’t be happier. Our kitten finally grew into the adult sized collar we'd bought her, but quickly learned how to break out of the breakaway clasp. While I prefer that style of collar for safety, I ended up getting her this one so she wouldn't be able to escape quite as easily. Several months in, it's worked out great! It's still a little long for her dainty neck, but there are lots of loops to help secure the extra strap length.

I've bought several of these in recent years, and they're decent enough to last up to a couple years on our three indoor/outdoor cats. The holes could be a bit closer together for finer adjustment, though.On the last order we got two large instead of one large and one small. The wrong one had a hole in the plastic wrap and a secondary barcode over the original product label, almost like it was a return. Not sure it's worth sending it back.Update: Getting refunded an will re-purchase.

It's been several months and the collar is still in good shape with only minor wear. The end (pictured) is dirty, stiff, and slightly curled and on the elastic where he scratches. Also the bell color is wearing off, but I'm frankly impressed that it's still there. The elastic makes it possible to remove the collar without unbuckling (only worn outside). This cat collar is a bit big. I have a 4 yr old spayed female, so she has packed on a few pounds and has some saggy spots (just to give you an idea of her neck girth). I got the 9-11in, it is on the tightest hole and is still loose. Thankfully she is a strictly indoor cat so i dont really have to worry about it snagging and coming off. I have 10 cats and bought a different color for each. Two cats did not like collars and easily tore them apart. I was able to return and purchased same collars but the "new" ones with a metal strap-end holder, which worked so much better and now all 10 cats strutt around with their cute collars.

Lasted almost 1 year. One day the cat lost the collar, a neighbor returned this. The elastic strap had broken/worn out. Thanks for attention!

I got the smallest size as my cat is a tabby at about 10 pounds. It fits her on the first hole but If I ordered again I’d get the one size up. I think it’s fine, I can get it over her head both ways while it’s on and I can easily get 2 fingers under the collar. If your cat is 10Or more pounds, consider the next size up.Edited to add I ordered another one in the larger size and it’s way better. Use the second to last hole and it’s not choking my 12 pound cat.

It's leather, instead of nylon, and the bell is quieter than most other cat collars, the one draw back, is that it needs another loop or ring to help hold the end of the collar in place as the bell ring is too far away from the buckle too keep it in place.

This is our third collar. Didn't give 5 stars because it is not pink rather a very deep raspberry, almost purple. The bell comes off with ease. We don't like the noise when sleeping.

Of all the cat collars we've had, these have been the most durable. They stay on longer than the mesh collars with the plastic enclosures and don't seem to irritate the cats. Love the different colors. Found the bells unnecessary, though. Will buy again.

A little on the loose side, even on the tightest setting, but a quality collar for a decent price! The colors are nice and vibrant as well.

The dogs love these collars. The colors are awesome as well. The color options may not be suitable for cats with certain coat patterns or markings.
