I use this lens with the amazing Fuji XT3. In general, this lens has decent optical quality for its price. Photos are clear, bokeh is pleasant. The lens is not too big and light for its focal range. It's mostly plastic, but feels good. The structure is also good. The zoom is very smooth and linear. This lens is low. Literally. At its long end, it's F6.7, which doesn't let through too much light. The stabilization makes up for this, but when your subject is moving quickly it doesn't help much. If you're walking around with this lens in daylight it won't be a big deal in most cases. What really worries me is the slowness of the zoom. Even on a modern camera like the XT3, the zoom on this lens is very slow, taking more than a second in many cases. Also, this lens has good range but lacks wide angles. This makes it difficult to be a versatile lens. I'm not sure what's stopping Fuji from making something like the 28-300 lens. Nikon, Canon, and third-party lens manufacturers have been making these lenses for quite some time. Such a lens would likely be a bit larger and heavier, but would add a very important level of versatility.
