📷 Fujinon XC50-230mmF4.5-6.7 OIS II Black Lens: High-Quality Zoom for Stunning Photography Review

I am very happy with the CX 50-230mm F4.5 -6.7 OIS lens for my Fujifilm XT-1 camera, although it is a used camera, just like the new one, that I received. It works well, the picture is clear, the colors are wonderful, it's also suitable for a portrait. I saved half the price of the camera by buying a used but in very good like new condition.

This is clearly not the fastest lens for this focal range and the body construction is very plasticky, but the lens comes with a 16-50mm focal range, which in my case is only 200 bucks extra for just the camera body, the chances that the value for money will be exceeded are slim. I definitely think it's a good choice for hobbyists like me.

I use this lens with the amazing Fuji XT3. In general, this lens has decent optical quality for its price. Photos are clear, bokeh is pleasant. The lens is not too big and light for its focal range. It's mostly plastic, but feels good. The structure is also good. The zoom is very smooth and linear. This lens is low. Literally. At its long end, it's F6.7, which doesn't let through too much light. The stabilization makes up for this, but when your subject is moving quickly it doesn't help much…
