High weight distribution wall mounted shelf brackets for small equipment or occasional use

Heaven help me, I'm really going to admit it. Bought for microwave. We needed a weighted bracket system that could mount a flat-bottomed trash can to hang on the wall above the washing machine in the kitchen, and still slide it to the side to open the washing machine without dismantling an entire shelf. . Basically it works. The brackets are strong, well designed, straight and supportive, yet wide enough to provide a flat surface for the trash can when it's there and not so wide that I can't open the washing machine lid when I'm out move the car wash. trash can exposing these permanently installed braces. What makes them load bearing and better than most on the market is that they are designed like kitchen cabinets to direct the downward pressure back onto the drywall and the pressure across the small vertical "L" portion of the horizontal Distributing part of each brace distributes pressure across a separate vertical backing that fits snugly against the wall. If you look at the photos you will see that the vertical part leaning against the wall is long and about a third of the inverted part of the horizontal part. This weight and pressure distribution system is efficient and this is how we have been hanging our top kitchen cabinets for so long, distributing the pressure on the wall and getting great results. It was more than enough for a large bin and they seem strong enough for appliances to me if weight guidelines and installation instructions are followed. Good luck finding what suits your needs.
