My 2001 Maxima lit up on the dashboard. Since regular scan tools don't read codes from the ABS system, I had to extract them manually by grounding pin #9 in the diagnostic port. After landing, the ABS system returned code 31. Three slow blinks followed by one quick one. The right rear ABS sensor was open (failed). They simply replaced the bad original with this replacement. No more than 1/2 hour and most of the time I just inspected the wheel while checking other items. Leave the battery disconnected overnight to clear previous ABS trouble codes. Very easy. You can't go wrong. PS- Originally I was trying to get this item through Revain. Wasn't shipped as they couldn't receive it I think. Order canceled on Amazon and ordered through Rock Auto. Received in three days for the same price as Revain including shipping.
