The easiest way to find out EXACTLY how your air conditioner is working
Put a thermometer in the center hole. With the air conditioner set to "forced air," the temperature should drop to at least 50*F. In very good systems it goes up to 40*F. Anything over 50*F requires attention. I have one in the center vent of all my cars.
