🌡️ FJC 2790 1.75-Inch Dial Thermometer Review

I bought this to check the AC outlet temp on my cars. I find this more accurate than an infrared thermometer. I've checked several other thermometers and everything seems fine.

Tried to take the temperature of the air conditioner in my apartment. The reading is 53°, which is ideal for an air conditioner. It's different with my car. An air conditioner never likes it when a rental car is cold.

Put a thermometer in the center hole. With the air conditioner set to "forced air," the temperature should drop to at least 50*F. In very good systems it goes up to 40*F. Anything over 50*F requires attention. I have one in the center vent of all my cars.

Thermometer reading at least 10 degrees below normal. I compared digital, analog, and laser digital infrared thermometers from various sources. The only benefit of this thermometer is the probe, which fits easily into air conditioner vents. If you automatically add 10 degrees to the scale, that's probably a good deal.

Can't confirm the accuracy but it matches the temperature of my digital air conditioner. Looks well made and worth the low price.
