This item was purchased. Pretty easy to install. Installing new engines required minor modifications to the car's drive axle. It worked fine for about 5 battery cycles until the forward/reverse switch connector melted. I have requested a replacement. Received in 3 days. Installed with no problems. 1 battery cycle and the same problem. The forward/backward selector melted again in the same place. Obviously this is not designed to use amperage. i will send it back Shame as my son really enjoyed the increase in speed and power.
