Revainrating 4 out of 5

The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

It is a terrible shame that the Smart Home, which takes the form of Alice, is unable to figure out how to regulate this fan. On the other hand, beginning on June 18th, 2022, began to detect this gadget and offer to include it into a smart home. As a consequence of this, he continues, but he is unable to control it, and he has absolutely no idea that this person is a fan. They were informed about the occurrence. support, it is my hope that they will be able to resolve this issue. Now, onto the most important part! The problem with the fan has been stated by a number of people, including some who rated it 1-3 stars. Bulk. In addition to that, it is not even a marriage. This is a design problem that has to be corrected as soon as possible; otherwise, you'll be ready to toss this fan after only a week of using it! The primary source of the issue is the additional noises that are produced by this fan when it is set to speeds 1-2. Presented itself as a chirping sound, a clicking sound, or a tapping sound. It would appear that the rotor (impeller) is making contact with the casing. I was able to resolve this issue in one hour; however, in order to do so, I had to disassemble the fan housing. This step is not required; rather, it is sufficient to remove the rear grille, remove the rotating rotor, and carefully pull down the rubber "glass" into which this shaft is inserted at the attachment point of the upper shaft of the rotor. The self-balancing plain bearing is the central component of the design. This bearing has two components: the rubber cup itself, which was discussed in the previous paragraph, and a plastic bushing that is fitted inside of it. This sleeve, in particular, is the source of all of these grating noises. On the outside, it has the appearance of a nearly perfect sphere, and there is a hole in the center of it through which the rotor shaft revolves. This chirping sound is produced by the rotation of the shaft, which is accompanied by the formation of many longitudinal grooves on the walls of this hole, each of which contains an embedded lubricant. If you want a decent bushing, you'll need to replace it with a similar bushing (ideally made of fluoroplast), but if you want to save some time and effort, you can just take it apart, give it a good cleaning, and then rotate the plastic bushing through 180 degrees. (Switch the top and bottom positions) and reinstall the rubber cup, but stop approximately 5 millimeters short of pressing it all the way to the end (until you hear a click). All. Issue solved!

Pros
  • Design, takes up little room, is powerful, intelligent - works with the Mi Home ecosystem, is energy efficient, and is quiet* (see below). I chose this model on purpose since, unlike traditional floor fans, it has a design that helps save a large amount of room. In addition, I can use this fan for my own purposes within the Mi Home smart home ecosystem, and it is fully automated and controlled in accordance with the scenarios that I have designed.
Cons
  • Because of a flaw in the product's design, it makes a crackling and tapping sound (as if the impeller is touching something) when it is operating at low speeds. Look farther down for details.
