Review on HandFan Portable Misting Fan: Large Water Tank, Rechargeable & Foldable for Travel & Outdoors – Green by Ron Long

Very portable, simple, powerful fan that really cools in 30 degree heat, 90% humidity, August weather in Vietnam. Also works great in the recent 107 F California weather. The fan contains a detachable rechargeable 18650 3.7V 7.4Wh battery with micro USB charging cable (no charger). Before use, open the battery cover and remove the white paper to separate the battery terminals. Charging can be done by connecting the USB cable to a standard USB power supply such as that used to charge phones or computers/laptops. There are LED indicators showing charging (RED) and full battery (GREEN). There is a single button that turns on the fan every time you press it -> LOW SPEED -> MEDIUM SPEED -> HIGH SPEED -> OFF. We took 4 of these fans on a recent trip to Vietnam. There were no security problems at the airport. Worked like a champ on our long trips to Tam Coc, Halong Bay Cruise, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Ba Na Hill. The fan has been running at low speed for more than 2 hours, occasionally at high speed. Never drained like we used it. Beats with a hand fan.
