I am changing the rating back to 5 stars. My sound problem was resolved after contacting the seller. I was told that the Rockford Fosgate system does not require all seat belts. See attached picture. After removing the two straps, the Rockford sound system came alive. My only complaint right now is that the mic is quiet. It sounds great at idle, but my voice gets a bit lost while driving. I'll look at other mics to see if they can even fix this. Correction. The old head unit was replaced with a SYGAV head unit with very minor problems, but I relied on previously watched YouTube videos more than the instructions that came with it. Everything works and looks fine after installation, however I'm giving 3 stars because the overall speaker volume is lower than I think it should be. I would never turn my original car radio to maximum volume because that would be deafening. However, with the SYGAV box installed, I can crank the volume to maximum and the sound system barely beats the noise of the freeway. If I could figure out what's wrong or how to fix it to give the speaker more power I would happily give this a 5 star rating. and the sound system hardly beats highway noise.
