I've done a lot of homework to find a toaster that claims to toast evenly, has multiple settings, looks great and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I found this toaster overpriced but its features met my needs so I bought it. I wish I hadn't. Yes, the toaster cooks evenly, but there are two important points I would like to draw the attention of potential buyers. (1) Please note that the item description has the words "SMALL MINI TOASTER". These words are the key. The slots, although labeled "double extra wide," don't allow for much of the sliced bread to be easily and conveniently accommodated. The slots are too narrow. Other buyers have spoken about it. (2) As other customers have mentioned, the lever that lowers the bread or bagel into the toaster and activates the toasting process often does not stay down. At first this happened occasionally, but now, a few months after buying the toaster, the lever itself never stays in the down position. To toast an item, I have to manually pull the lever until the toasting is complete, control the toasting, look into a slot in the item while it's browning, or stop the toasting repeatedly to see the toast being toasted. walk. Unfortunately I bought this toaster 7 months ago so I cannot return it. I would return it if I could, but it's too late. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOASTER.
