As soon as I wore them, I fell in love with them. We added an insert and keep the orange insert. I bought 13-5 14 and they fit perfectly. The velcro allows the shoes to be put on as snugly as I need them to be, although I do need help to get them as snug as possible. These, along with my compression stockings, have reduced the swelling in my foot and some swelling in my ankle. I'm also going out for the first time in many years. With the inserts they are soft and you have the feeling that your feet are pushed a little forward, but they are still very comfortable. Highly recommended
