This is a very well thought out line of products that makes it easy to go waterproof which is the only thing you need trust me. Yes, some parts can be a little pricey, but I was able to get a good deal on a pre-packaged shower kit by shopping online. I just had to purchase that extra "custom" pipe gasket to complete the installation. Please note that no amount of silicone sealant can match the tight seal of these rubber grommet Schlüter pipe seals.
