Superior Pump 99555: Versatile Universal Plastic Pump for Enhanced Performance Review

The check valve did its job and only allowed water to flow out of the pump and not back through it. I also bought a 24 foot hose and 1/3 horsepower pump. They were recommended in the "Items also purchased with a check valve" section. The pump worked very well as described. I wish there was a higher power available as it took some time to lower my pool for the winter closure.
