I bought two of these for my workstation and couldn't be happier (I don't game). It's more than "great value for money" - it's simply "great image quality. Some concerns about backlight leakage after reading some reviews. As far as I can tell, this is probably only an issue if you're shooting video in a dark room. Even with a dim lightbulb or a little moonlight shining on the back of my blinds, blacks still appear black. I program (mostly vim on the command line), write (like text) and make music. Excellent (I've previously had an iMac with a Retina 4k display - admittedly it was sharper, but still above average. About par with a Dell office-oriented LCD panel). Color reproduction is amazing (although that's not my area of expertise). I've attached two pictures to show how black blacks are even in a room with the lights on. Note to audio engineers: I run sound peripherals directly from my workstation, but decided to check out the USB 3.0 "SS" ports on the back panel. With high-bandwidth external audio devices, these monitors' onboard USB bus will introduce a noticeable tick every 750 ms or so (maybe an internal interrupt to check input or something). I'm assuming that if you're into audio production, you don't run your I/O through the monitor anyway! (Since I tested it, I thought I'd mention it).
