I don't like the fact that I fully installed the timing belt and started tensioning it and the tensioner broke completely in half. Then there were deep nicks on the sloths, and a strip of metal could be seen on the bridle strap. There were also metal strips on the timing belt. These straps would not last very long in this condition! The appropriate motor is an interference motor. If your strap snaps, you're done. Bad Gates product, I am very unpleasantly surprised.
