Review on AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AM4 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler (YD1600BBAFBOX) - 65W Energy Efficiency by Stanislaw Was ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

If without fanaticism, then just a good product, albeit damp. I upgraded in February. I bought i5 7600 + H270m mortar arctic + Criricual Sport LT 2*8 2400. In July there was too much extra money :))) and time - but I'll buy 1600x and b350m mortar arctic and throw the whole set over. And then there are so many conversations around Ryzen, it's interesting. Bought and changed. The same eggs, only in profile. The same level of performance for the same money. The revolution didn't happen. Just a good and competitive product from AMD for the money. The board and the processor itself are hotter than the same board but for Intel with the same power phases. I ordered a copper Alphacool Eisbaer for the processor. Although I have been on Intel for the last 12 years, I decided to keep Ryzen for myself. For the 7600th and mother, a buyer was found literally instantly, his appetite broke out and he took away my memory. In the future, I regretted it - the Cricual Sport LT memory, which is not mentioned anywhere in the compatibility lists, started perfectly and worked stably on the 3066 instead of the stock 2400. Great memory! Well, instead of it, I got what is recommended by AMD itself in the "am4-motherboard-memory-support-list" sheet - CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 v5.39. I got such a memory and it was version v5.39. It performs worse than the Critical Sport LT 2400! On the declared 3200 it did not start, on 3066 too. Wound up only on 2933 and sometimes the computer can start not the first time. How is that? So at the beginning of August 17, the memory dances on Ryzen continue! Even with recommended.

Pros
  • Today we will talk about 1600x + more cores and threads for the same money + adequate price + overclocking to a maximum of 200-300 MHz, then the system, although it starts, is unstable + solder, although it doesn't really matter
Cons
  • - memory problems have not been solved so far, even with the recommended - motherboards are hotter than similar boards on Intel of the same power wiring diagram - the processors themselves are also hot. Complete coolers can't cope, with X-versions it's so accurate - hello 90 degrees in synthetics
