Buyer warning! fits timing parts

New Yall if I could I would throw my wrench at you. What an awful product! I recently replaced the stock tensioner with this one, thinking that was the problem (it turned out not to be). When I was about to remove the S-belt to replace the steering pump, the nut that loosened the tension on the belt broke completely. Now I am stuck without a car over Easter weekend as there is no way to re-tighten the S-belt without buying a new tensioner. Buyer warning! The nut used to loosen the belt tension is cheap aluminum. As mentioned in other reviews of this product, the cast strain relief nut does not fit the 19mm head like it should. It should match the mythical socket size that only exists in the fantasy world (another reviewer actually measured it at 19.6mm, which doesn't match the actual socket size on this side of reality). I used the closest size I could find (20mm). It popped right out. If you decide to buy, first measure the size of the cast nut. If you can actually fit a 19mm head (I couldn't) make sure it has little to no play and is secure. Otherwise, come right back and decide to spend more money on a quality part. I put this on my machine after the return window and now I'm stuck with a very expensive paper press.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not the best
