The plastic film is applied to the walls with a brush on sewer sealant and fiberglass tape, providing a tight seal and permanent repairs. The pressure gauge measures the tightness of the system, and the higher the suction pressure, the better. Suction pressure did not improve until the entire system was sealed. Radon levels were reduced to 1.2 pCL, which is an acceptable level. I would give 5 stars if the instructions were better. I was concerned that moisture would get into the open end of the tube and the freezing point of the red liquid was not given.
