Review on Enhance Cycling Safety with Mirrycle Incredibell XL BLK Bicycle Bell in Black by Athenasby Whitney

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not all bells can do everything.

So I'm not sure if a bell actually gets five stars. Unless he came with a cute bike ghost that could cook and vaporize rude riders. What this bell is: a single "chime," a change in volume depending on how hard you press the thumb lever. For pedestrians walking the sidewalk in a seemingly chaotic manner, it is enough to quickly press several times in relatively quick succession, with increasing volume. It has a pleasant tone and a very weak echo. A sudden movement and some people will notice; Repeated calls usually draw the attention of most roving rags. A tone, hue, or whatever is pleasing enough to make people smile or apologize at him. I haven't been scolded yet, but take your time. What this call isn't: Useful for cars or jerk drivers. You will need a battery powered air horn to do this. Most cars with rolled-up windows *won't* hear you ring that bell. SUVs can hear a bullet penetrating their windows or their thick skulls, but that's about it. This bell isn't magical either. Pedestrians seemingly unaware of the concept of the world around them, wandering either in daydreams or insanity or solipsism, will not hear a bell. School vouchers might help, but not this appeal. The call isn't rusty yet. It's fairly adjustable and pretty easy to install. Does not fit all steering wheels - not a single bell fits.
