I have fine, medium length hair that's prone to dryness and wanted an alternative to my cheap plastic drugstore comb because it caused a lot of breakage (and was messy). in a few years, uh). This is a beautiful and well packaged comb. Because it's a full comb (no handle) it covers a lot more hair, which I like. The relatively wide teeth are great for detangling hair after the shower, but aren't so wide that the comb can't be used as an everyday comb. It feels good on the scalp, as they say about wooden combs. I personally like the smell of sandalwood, although I understand that someone else might not like it. Haven't dropped it or tested its durability yet, but it seems pretty solid.
