These parts almost did the job of converting my AC to R134a, but it was my 1990 Miata that was to blame, not the part. Check the gap on the low pressure port + adapter as I could not connect the freon hose due to the engine blocking access. I had to remove the R12 fitting and replace it with an R134a fitting (can't use this adapter on the low pressure side) - again due to lack of clearance which happens with small cars. The high-pressure adapter is screwed onto the R12 fitting, so there is no access restriction.
