Review on Factiva by Christopher Gulledge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very comprehensive database with tons off valuable info

The product works like a very complex search engine, allowing to select topics of interest and getting content from many sources available. A little more intuitive interface in terms if users could have some specific filters that would make it even faster to find interesting information. This is definitely one of the best tools for people who need to do their daily business work but don’t have endless time. In this case, searching for data related to our market can really help us get ahead of competitors by knowing what they are looking at while we focus on different parts. We started using Factiva about two years ago just because I was too busy attending conferences not seeing my team properly motivated or guided. Once I began exploring the possibility of starting something new within Factiva which was creating an own newsletter focused toward professionals in insurance companies factually oriented Factivity and its content made me reconsider everything so this tool became essential! It saved me time and allowed me to reach better decisions for the company thanks to having all facts right there without any effort needed. I like how easy it is to use, how well organized it is, and how quick it is to find what you are looking for. Sometimes it's difficult to narrow down your search results if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. It can be helpful to have someone who knows the product help you figure out where to look. I've used this in my previous job as an information librarian, but now I am using it at home. I'm trying to organize all of our media files into one place.
