Have used two of these for over five years in the US and Canada on a 1980 Suzuki GS 850 and a 2013 Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX. They're EASY and they DO THE JOB. All friction devices are difficult because there is a trade-off between good friction when locking the throttle and (ideally) zero friction when releasing the lock. This particular block is the simplest, most unobtrusive I've tried and WORKS WELL ENOUGH TO REST YOUR HANDS on the Autobahn. It does weaken on a rough road though - but who would use cruise control on a bumpy road? (Well, some highways in North America are in URGENT need of maintenance). Good price! I drilled a 2mm hole under and into the throttle body and used a length of 14 gauge electrical wire to hold it in place better than the stock clamp. .
