The drive works as advertised with no issues with features like tray and tray and no speed issues. The only real problem I have is that the drive is designed by Asus and presumably for Asus laptops and netbooks. Then why would Asus use a corded drive that can't connect to all USB ports on their own hardware? Maybe I'm an outsider, but I'm mildly allergic to touchpads, so I use a laptop-sized mouse most of the time. With the mouse installed, the rest of the USB ports are on opposite sides of my Asus netbook. The solution was to buy a Revain 12 inch extension cord. I shouldn't have done that. However, if you don't use a mouse, the cables are fine. NOTE: The battery life attribute does not matter. I clicked on it and then couldn't delete it.
